Bank Of Baroda has invited online application for appointment of Local Bank Officer (LBO) to be posted on applied states. A total of  2500 vacancies are to be filled. Application can be made only through online mode and will be considered as completed when payment of fee made before last date of payment. Bank Of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

An applicant applying for the post of Local Bank Officer (LBO) on regular basis in Bank of Baroda must possess the following qualifications -

i) Graduation from a recognized University/IDD.

ii) 1 year of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of RBI only.

iii) Must be proficient in local language.

iv) Age Limit: 21 year - 30 years (as on 01 July 2025)

Exclusions: 

i) Employees of Bank of Baroda who have resigned from an officer-grade position or exited from the Bank while serving on contract within the last three years as on the cut-off date are not eligible to apply.

 ii) Employees working in Bank of Baroda in officer cadre or employees engaged on contract basis will not be eligible to apply.

Bank Of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2025: Scale of Pay / Salary

Scale of Pay (as amended from time to time) – JMG/S I:
₹48,480 (starting basic) with annual increments of ₹2,000 for 7 years (bringing the pay to ₹62,480), then ₹2,340 for 1 year (₹67,160), then ₹2,680 for 2 years, reaching a maximum of ₹85,920.

Bank Of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2025: Selection Procedure

I. Online Test:  a) The minimum qualifying marks in each section would be-

                               General & EWS    - 40%

                              Reserve Category  - 35%

                           b) Negative marking - 0.25 for each wrong answer.

II. Psychometric or Other Test: As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to undergo a psychometric assessment. This evaluation is designed to determine the candidate’s alignment with the Core Values of Bank of Baroda and to assess their aptitude for sales-related roles. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a strong alignment with the Bank’s core values and exhibit a natural flair for sales.

III. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

– Candidates applying for a state-specific post required to qualify in local language (read/write/speak).
– Exempted if the language was studied up to 10th & 12th Standard.

IV. Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI)

– Candidates are required to obtain a minimum score in each test /section and also a minimum total score in the online test to be shortlisted for Group Discussion &/or Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for GD &/or PI based on the number of vacancies, the cut-off criteria, and the total marks obtained in the online examination, as determined by the Bank Prior to the completion of the interview/selection process, scores obtained in the online examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview

- The minimum qualifying marks GD/PI would be-

     General & EWS     - 60%

     Reserve Category  - 55%
